1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using AI Career Copilot (the "Service"), a product of UNYFO, INC. ("Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

AI Career Copilot is an AI-powered career tool that helps users tailor resumes, draft cover letters, prepare for interviews, and more. The Service uses third-party AI models (OpenAI) to generate content based on information you provide.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Subscriptions, Auto-Renewal, and Billing

• Free tier: 10 AI actions at no charge. No credit card required.
• Pro BYOK — $2.99/month: Unlimited AI actions using your own OpenAI API key. An active subscription is required to use BYOK.
• Pro Managed — $7.99/month: 300 AI actions per calendar month using our shared key. Unused actions do not roll over.
• Auto-renewal: All paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel. You will be charged on the same day each month.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via the billing portal (Settings → Manage / Cancel Subscription). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store payment card details.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice by email. Price changes do not affect the current billing period already paid.

5. Refunds

Subscriptions are generally non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at privacy@unyfo.com within 14 days and we will review your case. EU/UK consumers retain statutory cancellation rights under applicable law.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to create false, misleading, or fraudulent career materials — including inventing employers, fabricating credentials, misrepresenting work authorization, or claiming skills or experience you do not have.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise attempt to extract our underlying models or data.
• Share your account or API key with others.
• Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or billing controls.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or our team.

7. AI-Generated Content — Ownership and Disclaimer

Ownership of outputs: AI-generated outputs (resumes, cover letters, interview answers, and other content) created using the Service belong to you. UNYFO, INC. claims no ownership over content generated on your behalf.

No employment guarantee: We make no guarantees that any generated content will result in a job offer, interview, or any other employment outcome. You are solely responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content for accuracy before submitting it to any employer.

No fabrication: The Service will never encourage you to misrepresent your qualifications. Any suggestion that appears to do so should be reported to privacy@unyfo.com immediately.

8. Your Content

You retain ownership of content you upload (resumes, job descriptions, profile information). By uploading content you grant UNYFO, INC. a limited, non-exclusive license to process it solely for the purpose of delivering the Service to you. We do not use your content to train AI models.

9. Affiliate and Referral Program

• Approved partners ("Affiliates") may earn a referral commission for each paying subscriber they refer, as described in our Affiliate Agreement.
• FTC disclosure required: Affiliates must clearly disclose their material connection to UNYFO, INC. in any promotional content (e.g., "I earn a commission if you subscribe through my link"). This is required by FTC guidelines and is a condition of participation in the program.
• Affiliates may not make false or misleading claims about the Service.
• UNYFO, INC. reserves the right to terminate the affiliate relationship and withhold commissions for violations of these rules.

10. Intellectual Property

All software, design, and branding of AI Career Copilot is the property of UNYFO, INC. and may not be copied, modified, or distributed without written permission.

11. DMCA / Copyright Infringement

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to privacy@unyfo.com containing: (1) a description of the copyrighted work, (2) the location of the infringing material, (3) your contact information, (4) a good faith belief statement, and (5) a statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury. We will act on valid notices promptly.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time by emailing privacy@unyfo.com.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UNYFO, INC. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost employment opportunities. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for your specific situation.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware. EU/UK consumers may also rely on mandatory protections of their local law.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
